Continue to pray for God to open miraculous doors of provision for His ministry at The Lines. If we, in all of our imperfection, can love and care for this part of His city....HOW MUCH MORE...does God. 

5 Day Club.....And God controls the weather!

Below are some pictures from our most recent 5 Day Club, again led by the leader for Child Evangelism Fellowship in Estonia Mailis Jogi....Thanks Mailis...great job! This was our second club of the summer and we are so thankful to Him who brought children our way. We had alot of rain for a week to ten days just before the start of the Club....and just as He did in June, each day was picture perfect! Yes, we do BELIEVE this was a direct answer to prayer!

European Congress Prague

Finland/Estonia division. 6 young people from Estonia and 6 from Finland join 850 other young people from all around Europe. The Salvation Army youth gathering in Prague desiring Gods' power and Holy Spirit to draw near. Four days focusing on the God the Father as Potter and We the clay ready for His touch, ready for His filling.

The Worship brought us into the Holy of Holies, and lives were changed. The General of The Salvation Army was there forging the way and encouraging us to be vulnerable, and be used to bring others to Christ.

It was awesome how with such diversity and tongues how The Spirit created one body of unity as we worshiped in Spirit and truth. We not only remained within the walls of the conference building, but were prepared and activated to go to the streets and share the Fathers love.

As leader of our group, I speak as a faulty vessel, who needed the Words, and needed the challenge as well. The passion on the hearts of the young is contagious and I so much want to be a vessel always being created new everyday by the master. It was an honor and a privilege to be a part of this distinguished group, and being together during these days, will be a memory which brings reminder of Gods' Goodness and Grace.

I want to thank all of those who supported the young people of Estonia to go to this event. There lives will never be the same. The Corps in Estonian will never be the same. The Salvation Army will never be the same. In fact I believe the world will never be the same. You have left a legacy for generations to come because of the ability of these youth to go to an event that only comes around once every ten years. Commitments were made and we heard the call loud and clear.

We Love the Lord, therefore we must Go and care for His sheep.

Our visit to Narva

On Sunday, August 14, Phil, Jacob and Emma travelled to Narva to conduct the worship services with The Salvation Army there. Narva is in far eastern Estonia, bordering with Russia. It as a great day, the priviledge it is to serve, preach, teach, and travel for Christ came through once again! Here are a couple of pictures from our day.

More Castles!

We had another great family time visiting the remains of castles, etc. This time we were only about an hour or so from home, perhaps we would call it west-central Estonia. We actually encountered a thunder storm, farely rare here......But if you watched the World Track and Field Championships from Helsinki you know that is the kind of week we have had...By the way ESTONIA won a gold and a silver medal! Enjoy...we sure did!

We're Back!

There is a very good reason we haven't blogged lately......we were on vacation!! We spent the month of July visiting family in the States....we traveled over 3700 miles....It was great to see so many of you. Thanks to everyone who made this trip possible....With wonderful gifts, lodging, resupplying our kids for school, everything.....we don't take you for granted and see it for what it is...a wonderful, unexpected provision from the hand of a Good God! We are now back in Tallinn and already right back at it. We will have another five day club in about a week...this one in a park not far from the Corps, right across the street from the British Embassy...many of you know that the five day club we had just before vacation reached 37 new children and we don't want to lose momentum.....Then it is our Church Camp at Loksa (The Salvation Army Camp for Estonia, in the country a block from the Gulf of Finland.....and so it goes. Right now Susan is in Prague, Czech Republic for the European Youth Congress, with five teenage delegates from Estonia. She is the leader of the Youth Mission Team for Finland and Estonia and has blossomed in this leadership role. Anyway, here are a few pictures from our vacation, enjoy. We will soon past more from Susan's trip, give day club, etc. Let us know what you think!-

We were able to spend a few days in Ellenton Flordia with Susan's parents...It turned out in was "cooler" here then when we arrived in Philadelphia. 

We enjoyed a family picnic at my (Phils) brother Dan's house in Prospect Park, just outside of Philadelphia. Dan is in the backrow, first on the left......It was only in the high 90's this day!! It was a great evening....Thanks Dan!  

Emma is just upside down about seeing her cousins, Danielle and Stacy, they are the daughters of my (Phil's) brother Larry and his wife Lynne.
