"The Lines" - The hand of God is moving!

Many of you know of God's leading and the vision He as planted for a part of Tallinn that some call "The Lines". This is a part of town were the tramm lines end and is thought to be the worst part of Tallinn. These apartments, which are situated on one of two peninsulas in Tallinn, where formerly occupied by Russian military. When they vacated, many of these places where just "homesteaded", with many residents having no legal standing to be living where they live. Since these places are right on the water, the long range plan is to develop a harbour and build housing for the rich. Many of the undocumented people will be displaced with no where to go and no assistance from the Government!

But we are moving in the window of opportunity that is now! And God is making a way for us! We have been looking for quite a long time for a permanent place in the midst of The Lines, from which to center, daily consistent ministry to the children and families. No realtor would work with us in that part of town. A knock on the door of a Yogurt factory by Major Derek Tyrrell found us two rooms and a shed which can be renovated into our youth center!! Here is the part only God could do.....It is within thirty feet of where we have conducted our outdoor ministry in the past!! I

We contacted a very prominent Estonian architecht who has designed many of the leading buildings here in Tallinn. We were hoping that we could just have a meeting with him to discuss our vision and passion. We had heard that he was a Christian and might be sympathetic. Our secretary called for the first time today and he personally wants to travel to The Lines with us this Thursday at 1:00!!

Friends, this is the stuff that keeps you going! Pray for us this Thursday at 1!!

Matthew 18 - Pray for the children!

Matthew 18:10 "See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that THEIR ANGELS in heaven CONTINUALLY SEE THE FACE OF MY FATHER who is in heaven."

How do we pray for children? The exploited, abused, neglected, forgotten.....Someone can tell me the Greek tense of THEIR angels, but are they especially assigned to render service to the "little ones"......Pray that their Father will send them to rescue, protect and defend.

these kind come out only by........

Came across this while reading through Scripture the other morning. First, Exodus 6:9 "So Moses spoke thus to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to him ON ACCOUNT OF THEIR DESPONDENCY AND CRUEL BONDAGE". We know the context, Moses proclaiming impending freedom even as Pharoh increases their oppression. We find ourselves in this position as a church, proclaiming, each week, freedom, even as Satan increases his oppression. I think it is in this context that we ask God for signs and wonders. Where the signs and wonders that Moses brought just for the Egyptians? I have changed my mind about this. Certainly it was also for the Jews so that they might believe! May God lift the despondency and cruel oppression as we boldy pray for signs and wonders that, as their goal, bring salvation!

Jesus, in the text where he heals the man lowered through the roof says something like, "which is easier to say, your sins are forgiven or take up your palet and walk, so that you might BELIEVE I say take up your palet and walk"....(forgive me if I havent quoted that exactly right!). This seems to confirm why we seek signs and wonders, much for the same reason in Exodus. Pray boldly for us as we will for you, that a mighty God will lift despondency and cruel oppression from us and those we minister to.

Some thoughts about praying for children in a couple of days. Hint: Matthew 18:10
