Some things to pray for!

Just a quick update on some things that are on the "calendar". We pray that these "programs" will always be open to the leading of the Holy Spirit...in other words, even though they are scheduled and planned, we pray He always has "permission" to be Lord over them, change them, cancel them, improve them, surprise us by doing beyond anything we could think or imagine. This Sunday begins our open air "season" here. This is a culture, that because the winter can be so long and dark, everyone takes advantage of summer, the long days, and warmer tempratures, to be outside. So Open Airs are a very valid ministry here, people are walking everywhere, and will always stop for a listen. We will be in Kadriorg this Sunday afternoon for a children's open air. This is the large city park, and God has again given us favor with the City government as they have allowed us to have a prime spot, near the duck pond. This will a a high energy children's service led by Brita and Talvi, two of our newest Adherents (members). Susan and I will play Adam and Eve and Noah and his wife!!

Next week for five days, in coopereation with CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) we will be having a "Five Day Club", in essence an outdoor Sunday School. this is in the schoolyard of a local school within a five minute walk of the Corps (Church). Once again God has granted us favor, as the Headmaster was more than willing to allow us on school property for this time....even though school is closed. Pray for Mailis (the leader of CEF in Estonia) and Brita as they lead this. Also, Sirje (new member) Svetlana (new member) Teele (our secretary) and Susan and myself as we try to reach neighborhood children with the Gospel.

The weekend after that!! Phil will travel to Finland with the Corps (church) teens for a Rock Festival sponsored by The Salvation Army there. Some of our teens will leave after the weekend in Helsinki and proceed on a Missions Team visit to Pori, Finland.

Toward the end of June, a Salvaton Army band from Iceland, led by two Salvation Army Officers (clergy) will visit Estonia for outreach ministry. They will spend June 23rd (Emma birthday!) and 24th in Tallinn with us where they will have an outdoor concert at "The Lines" followed by a cookout and acoustic worship service at our Camp "Loksa", with our Pensioners and Teens that evening. It is the longest day of the year...the sun never really goes down, so we should have a great time at Camp!!

THEN, June 29th, Susan, Phil, Jacob and Emma fly to the US for a month of vacation!! God has provided in an amazing way for us to visit home again this summer, we are truly amazed at His Grace! Meaghan leaves June 9th to work at Camp SWONEKY in Ohio and Sarah flies out June 18th to attend the Arts camp at Camp Happyland in Virginia. Thanks Uncle Pat and Aunt Cyndy for your great generosity in bringing Sarah to the States for this!!

Enough for now!! Keep in touch....May His good Spirit lead you on level ground.
